Mike Armistead

Mike Armistead

CEO

Mike has led teams that built companies, navigated strategic acquisitions, and drove growth at every business stage, from startup to large enterprise. He was CEO, co-founder or early employee at multiple successful startups: Respond Software (acquired by Mandiant), Fortify Software (acquired by HP), WhoWhere (acquired by Lycos), Pure Software (IPO), and has held leadership roles post-acquisition at Google Cloud, Mandiant and HPE (including VP and GM for both Fortify and ArcSight business units).

Robert Hipps

Robert Hipps

President & CPO

Robert has led product and engineering teams at companies ranging from startups to large organizations, including Oracle, Informatica, HPE, and Google/Mandiant. He was a co-founder of Respond Software, which developed technology to automate Security Operations investigation before being acquired by FireEye/Mandiant. Robert led Mandiant Engineering through their acquisition by Google, then focused on helping teams leverage GenAI across Google Cloud Security products.

Mitch Webb

Mitch Webb

Vice President of Security Research

Mitchell Webb is the VP of Research and Co-founder of Pulse Security AI. With 20 years of experience at industry leaders like Google, Mandiant, and Walmart, he specializes in building AI-driven security software. He has advised numerous Fortune 100 companies and government agencies on program strategy. Mitchell holds a BSBA and MS in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas.

Nick Gilligan

Nick Gilligan

Vice President of Engineering

Nick was the first engineer at Respond Software and led development of its ML-based “autonomous analyst” triaging security alerts. He was a key contributor through Respond’s acquisition by Mandiant and later Google. Post acquisition, he was the tech lead on Google Threat Intelligence focusing on GenAI and personalization. Nick is an experienced builder of security SaaS products (early stage and enterprise) with AI at the core.

Dan Lamorena

Dan Lamorena

Chief Go-To-Market Officer

Dan is the Chief Go-To-Market Officer for Pulse Security AI. He has 20+ years of marketing leadership at companies including Google, Mandiant, Respond Software and Symantec. Notable achievements include launching Gemini for Google Cloud, steering Mandiant through its Google acquisition, and scaling ForeScout toward its IPO. He holds an MBA from Haas at UC Berkeley, and a bachelor's degree from THE Ohio State University.
